PSE&G is prepared for possible thunderstorms that could bring gusty winds and rain throughout its service area Wednesday into Thursday. The weather system could bring hazardous wind gusts (40 to 50 MPH) across the service area — enough to potentially topple trees, bring down branches on wires and cause outages. We encourage customers to take the time now to prepare - know how to stay safe before, during and after a storm and know how to report an outage before it happens.

PSEG today announced the public engagement process, including the launch of a website and public information sessions, for the Maryland Piedmont Reliability Project (MPRP), a 500,000-volt (500 kV) transmission line designed to respond to growing electric needs in Maryland and the surrounding region.

PSE&G today filed proposals with the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (BPU) that will lower gas bills for its residential customers by 6.1%, effective Oct. 1, 2024.

“This is an opportunity to lower our gas supply rate, providing our customers with a little bill relief and helping to maintain affordability,” said Dave Johnson, vice president Customer Care & Chief Customer Officer. “We’re pleased that we will continue to have one of the lowest gas rates in the state.”

In a continued effort to sustain community partnerships and encourage local ingenuity, the PSEG Foundation is opening applications for the 10th year of its annual Neighborhood Partners Program (NPP). The Foundation is proud to announce a total of $1.2 million in grant funds available for eligible 501(c)(3) organizations, marking a 20% increase from last year's $1 million. Eligible nonprofit organizations must submit applications by June 30, 2024. Grants ranging from approximately $500 to $15,000 will be awarded.

PSEG subsidiary PSEG Nuclear, LLC, has notified the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) of its intent to seek subsequent license renewal (SLR) for the Salem Generating Station (Salem), Units 1 and 2, and Hope Creek Generating Station (Hope Creek), which collectively produce nearly half of New Jersey’s electricity and 85% of the state’s carbon-free generation. The three generating stations are co-located on one site on the Artificial Island in Lower Alloways Creek Township, Salem County.

The Board of Directors of Public Service Enterprise Group (NYSE: PEG) today declared a $0.60 per share quarterly common stock dividend for the first quarter of 2024, payable on or before March 29, 2024, to shareholders of record on March 8, 2024.  This action represents an increase of $0.03 per share in the company's quarterly common stock dividend, bringing the 2024 indicative annual rate to $2.40 per share.
